WHAT TO WEAR TO A MUSIC FESTIVAL
Every year I go to a few festivals, this year I was only able to make it to one but it was an amazing one. I've been to Osheaga a few times in the past, this year the lineup was way too good to pass up. My favourite acts from the weekend included: Whitney, Foxygen, Father John Misty and Justice. The music was incredible, the weather really wasn't but here's what I wore.
I take a lot of time to plan my outfits for festivals. I want the outfit to be different, stylish but also comfortable and long wearing. I usually go with something super boho, something a little more rocky/edgy and then something kind of random. I then match the outfit with the days it will best suit, music wise and weather wise. My outfits are pre planned and picked before heading the festival so I don't have to waste time trying to choose an outfit and I have everything I need with me.
What not to wear to a festival: White sneakers or sandals... girl it usually rains at every festival. Boots are a must.
Day 1: I chose this outfit for this day because we went pretty late in the day and it was kinda chilly and raining. We also were going to listen to Justice and I wanted to be able to move and to dance and not have some boho dress flopping around.
Day 2: I wanted something easy to wear this day. I slipped on high waisted bikini bottoms, and a white bralette and paired it with a sheer dress. I love this look. I was originally going to wear this with short boots but the long boots just looked better!
Sunglasses: Vintage Frames
Dress: Original Aritzia
Day 3: My most boho day. We spent most of the day at the festival and we were listening to Whitney on the grass. So I wanted this outfit to be chill and breezy. This was also the only day I did my makeup and hair a little more than I normally would and I think it pulled together the outfit nicely.
